Thanks, Marge...I've made it that way, too, but we add extra chopped onions to the soupmix because we love onions, and we add a bit of garlic powder to it, too. We put homemade bread cubes at the bottom of each bowl, pour the soup broth over it, making sure each scoop has the extra onions, and then we sprinkle the cheese over it...usually mozzarella cheese cuz that's what we usually have around. I'm smakkin' my lips, so it's time to have it again.
