Dear Betsy,
Thanks so much for the info. I will certainly be trying it soon for Easter! You are wonderful! I have just one more question.. can you advise me as too how to remove the giblets and neck before I place the turkey in the oven? I would appreciate your advice. Thanks, Connie/AK

Editor's note:
Hi Connie,
You're welcome! I don't know of any way to remove the giblets if they're frozen inside without thawing the turkey first. I think you wouldn't want to cook the turkey unless the cavity is empty because it might cause the inner part of the turkey to be at an unsafe temperature for too long. You would need to do this unstuffed also. Personally, I don't think cooking a frozen turkey will turn out very well because the I believe the outer portion would be overdone by the time the rest is thawed and done. Buying a fresh turkey is always an option and if you don't have room in your refrigerator for it your meat market or grocer should be willing to hold it in their cooler until the day you need it - they may even be willing to thaw a frozen turkey for you if you you purchase it from them. If you do try this please let us know how it turns out!
Happy Cooking!
Betsy
