I found this recipe in a local cookbook. I am dying to try it once I get hold of fresh peaches!
Peach Brandy
1 quart sliced peaches 1 orange sliced, unpeeled 1 lemon sliced, unpeeled 3 lbs sugar 1/4 cake yeast 1 box white raisins 3 quart hot water
Mix all ingredients well until sugar is dissolved. Put in container and cover tightly. Let set for 3 weeks, then strain and bottle. |
