Dear Janet: With great pleasure I will share my favorite Blody Mary's recipe. It is a repost of one of my previous postings:
Bloody Mary Victor's Style One of my favorite brunch cocktails. Victor (Vitín) had been my friend and associate for the last 25 years. This is his favorite formula and he shared it with me many years ago..
1 1/2 oz Vodka 1 lime; juiced (or less, depending on your preference) 3 Drops Tabasco sauce Salt (to taste) 3 oz Tomato juice (sometimes I use Clamato or V8 juice) 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce Pepper to taste Celery Salt to taste (optional)
Add all the ingredients in the order listed. Shake with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes. A wedge of lime may be added. You can also garnish it with celery.
I retired in December 2000 & I am very happy persuing my favorite pastimes. You will enjoy greatly your retirement. It takes some time to get used to it, but once you discover all the new things that can occupy your time, you will be constantly doing them.
I hope you will enjoy the recipe.
Your friend,
Gladys/PR
