I understand completely your making the surprise cheese puffs using something other than the olives. I am a huge olive fan, however, and have made them using green olives and black olives. Someone suggested they could be made with dried fruit bits ... like dates, etc. Sounds good to me! I love the fact that they must be made in advance and pre-frozen. Once I tried leaving out that step and ended up with cheesey miniature pancakes with lumbs in the middle. ;-( oops :-) Kelly
