My Mom started making this ice cream during WW2 when a lot of things had to be bought with stamps..the older folks will know what I mean...to make it more fat free I use FF milks..Hope you all try it and like it....

Homemade ice cream

1 large pkg. vanilla pudding (cooking kind)
3 cups milk
1 can evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condenced milk
2 cups of pureed fresh fruit (peaches-strawberries)
extra milk

Cook pudding according to package directions useing 3 cups milk.

Place into ice cream machine or churn and add the evaporated milk and condensed milk; mix well.

Add fruit puree. Pour in enough milk to reach the fill line. You may have to add some sugar depending on the sweetness of the fruit.

Freeze according to your churns directions.

We have made cookies and cream and just about any other flavor you can come up with, just leave out the fruit.
