I'm looking for a cake (a real cake-white actually) that you bake, use cool-whip for icing but when you slice it you have circles of different colors (maybe Jello?). A guy I work with said his Mother use to make it for him on his birthday which is in April so they called it an Easter Egg Cake-but I can't find anything by that name that resembles his description. He thinks She just made a white cake mix and stirred in cubes of premade/set Jello then baked it. Does anyone have the recipe for this or have any idea what I'm talking about? It sounded like a nice cool cake that would even be good for summer heat waves. Any help is appreciated!
