Don't put it into the refrigerator while it's still hot. Allowing the tea to first cool down to room temperature can help keep it clear.

Using "hard" water (highly alkaline) is also a major cause of cloudy tea. If you think this may be the case, try using bottled water and see if it makes a difference.
