Hi Jesse :-) Liquid smoke is a smoke flavoring to use when you are not actually grilling or smoking your food outdoors over a barbeque pit or smoker. You can also use it as part of a basting sauce for something you are cooking outdoors. The bottle that I have lists the ingredients as water and natural hickory smoke concentrate. One brand for you to look for is Wright's. It comes in a 3.5 FL. OZ bottle that is brown with a yellow cap. You should be able to find it at your grocery store near the ketchup, mustard, barbeque sauces etc. I hope that this helps you continue with the recipe for chicken wings.
