Depending on how lactose intolerant you are, you can sub diluted whipping cream (3 parts water, 1 part cream), or Mocha Mix non-dairy creamer for any milk.

For instance, I can use some cream (because it has very little lactose, and a lot of fat), all the cheese, sour cream I want. Yoghurt is a problem for me.

So, I substitute Mocha Mix, or Better-Than-Milk for milk in nay recipe. Usually works great . . . one exception is making instant pudding. THe milk protein sets the pudding. THen I use watered down cream for part of liquid. Like 2 T. cream, 6 T. water, fill measure cup with MochaMix.
