Do you have, or would you consider, getting a slow cooker?

That way, dinner could be ready and waiting for you, and then after dinner, you can prep up the next night's dinner, put it in the fridge over night, into the slow cooker the next day. And do it all again!

There are many long-cooking recipes suitable for the slow cooker, and often they take just a few minutes to assemble. Sometimes, if you choose, you can add some last minute things that just take a few minutes (eg spinach) that can cook up while you are setting the table, and your family is washing up.

As I say, there are dozens of possibilities, from simple to complex, including adapting some of your family favourites to the slow cooker.

More info, please! I would be happy to help you out.

Cheers!

Carolyn (busy mom of two teens, and wife of a hungry husband!)
