I only use ERA detergent because my husband is very allergic to certain detergents. For tough stains, I use Lestoil. To get rid of odors, Febreze has a laundry additive, which works great!(Especially on sweaty, filthy fishing & ball clothes). So far this combination works well. Good Luck
