Cranberry Salad With Cream Cheese Topping
1 lb. cranberries 1 large can crushed pineapple Broken nutmeats 2 pkg. raspberry Jello 3 cups water 1 3/4 cups sugar 2 pkg. (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
Grind or chop cranberries. Mix with sugar and let stand until sugar dissolves. Mix Jello with water. Drain pineapple, saving the juice. Add pineapple, cranberries and nutmeats. Put into 9x13-inch dish or mold. Refrigerate until firm.
TOPPING: Thin Philadelphia cream cheese with pineapple juice until about the consistency of whipped cream. Spread over top. |
