dianna-this is the recipe I have for "all-time favorite puff pudding" from a post grape nuts pkg...not sure if it's the one for which you're looking, but i hope it helps.
ALL-TIME FAVORITE PUFF PUDDING Source: Grape Nuts Box Makes 4-6 servings
1/4 cup butter 1/2 cup. sugar or honey 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 2 egg yolks 3 Tbsp. lemon juice 2 Tbsp. flour 1/4 cup post grape nuts cereal 1 cup milk 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease a 1 quart baking dish.
Thoroughly cream butter with sugar and lemon rind. Add egg yolks; beat until light and fluffy. Blend in lemon juice, flour, cereal, and milk. Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into prepared baking dish; place the dish in a pan of hot water.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched. When done, pudding has a cake-like layer on top with custard below.
Serve warm or cold with cream or whipped topping, if desired.
