I love the mothball candy and have been looking. I figured out the recipe myself. It is made of fondant that is molded around a hazelnut.

You just use any fondant recipe. Same fondant is used in Easter Eggs but without the coconut.

I boil water and sugar till a certain temperature and then pour it on a marble slab. You wait till it reaches 110 degrees and then start kneading. I have a metal scraper type tool that I pick the edges up and fold it into the center over and over. It begins clear then turns white. I also add a little vanilla.

Some stores carry fondant already made in a box or container. (Craft stores that have cake supplies etc.) Good Luck
