I think Paula's recipe was from a former neighbor's housekeeper. I believe her name was Etta Mae, or Addy Mae.

The recipe was simply fresh snow, sweetened condensed milk, sugar, and vanilla...no eggs or egg substitute.

I don't think exact amounts were given.
