FURR'S PECAN SURPRISE PIE
20 round Ritz crackers, finely crushed 1 cup chopped pecans 1 cup white sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 egg whites 1 (12 ounce) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan.
Combine Ritz cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla.
In separate bowl, beat egg whites until peaks form. Stir in the cracker mixture. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degress C) for exactly 25 minutes.
When pie has cooled down at room tempature top with whipped topping.
