The first time I made them, I placed them in a pam sprayed muffin tin until the caramel had cooled and set (refridgerated) and I wrapped them individually in plastic wrap. This worked great as I took them to school or for some occasion. The rice krispie topping was soggy to me in the premade ones. The fondue method I use when it is a small group, mainly when we are camping. By the way, with the hot caramel the marshmallows do melt, so you must work fast. I like them best however warm.
