Dear Kare,

Well I never met a girl who didn't like cheesecake. I like to make them because they can be done a day or two ahead, thus lessening the workload.

A crepe bar is a nice idea too. You could just put out crepes and toppings and let everyone decide what they would like.

Lastly, and this would give you time to spend with your daughter, you could do chocolate fondue. When eating fondue, people tend to take their time.
