GARLIC-HERB CHEESE SPREAD
1 cup ricotta or farmers cheese 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened and cut up 2 garlic cloves, minced 3 tablespoons chopped fresh herbs (such as sage, thyme, marjoram, oregano, savory, or rosemary) 2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil, dill, or tarragon 1 tablespoon fresh chopped chervil or chives 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/4 teaspoon bottled hot pepper sauce sprigs of fresh herbs (for garnish)
In blender container or food processor bowl, place all ingredients. Cover and process till smooth.
Turn mixture into a crock lined with leaves of the fresh herbs used. Garnish top of spread with another herb sprig. Chill till needed.
Serve with crackers, fresh vegetable sticks, or on open-faced sandwiches.
