CHILI MEATBALLS

FOR THE MEATBALLS:
1 pound hamburger
1/2 pound ground pork
1/2 pound ground veal
1 egg slightly beaten
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons oil
FOR THE SAUCE:
1 (12 ounce) bottle chili sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Mix together, lightly but well, all ingredients for the meatballs except oil. Form into 16 balls. Brown in oil. Remove meatballs and set aside. Drain off fat.

Stir chili sauce, water, brown sugar and mustard into pan. Add meatballs. Bring to a boil. Cover and reduce heat to simmer for 30 minutes.

Servings: 8
