Years ago when I lived in Cumberland,Maryland; I was given a recipe for Peanut butter hard tack. This was made annually at a church function. The candy was cooked on the stove with light corn syrup, and white sugar. I can not remember the temperature that it had to reach. After it reached the temperature; you removed from the heat and add the peanut butter. Then you removed to a greae cookie sheet, score,and coat in powder sugar. I hope some can help me.
