I couldn't find a clone recipe but here are a couple recipes to experiment with. Good luck and please share your results with us.

You could add more cherry chips to this recipe to make it chippier -er. Its been a long time since I had one of these cookies.

CHERRY CHIP COOKIES

1 box cherry chip cake mix
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped nuts
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar (to roll cookies in)

Mix first 5 ingredients until well blended. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar. Roll into ball.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.

This is for the Archway nut version. You can experiment with this recipe using cherry chips and leaving out the malt powder, etc. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.

ARCHWAY NUTTY MALTED NOUGAT COPYCAT

1 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup castor or extra fine sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
1 cup very finely chopped pecans(small like rice grains)
1/3 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 c malt powder

Preheat oven to 325 F. Using electric mixer, blend butter or margarine, sugar, and vanilla for 3 to 4 minutes until creamy and fluffy. Stir in flour and pecans just until blended. Roll into 1-inch balls. Bake 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet for 20 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Cool on wire rack. Roll in confectioners sugar.

Makes about 4 dozen
