Several years ago I found a wonderful recipe online that used a cantelope halved and was filled with a mixture of strawberry jello and applesauce. Mixed together they became very stable and you could cut the cantelope when the jello mixture had chilled and set into slices. My kids loved this, but due to not having good cantelopes for a couple of years straight I have now lost an old favorite. If anyone has this recipe I would love to have it.
