STRAWBERRY DREAM CAKE
1 box angel food cake mix
1 c. boiling water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry flavored Jello
1 pkg. (1 lb.) frozen sliced strawberries, or use fresh
2 env. Dream Whip (follow directions) or use Cool Whip
Red food coloring
Bake cake as directed on back of box and cool. Dissolve Jello in water and add frozen strawberries, stirring to break up and mix berries. Place cake widest side down on a serving plate. Cut a one inch layer from the top and set aside. Cut around cake one inch from outer edge to one inch from bottom.
Then cut around cake one inch from inner edge to one inch from bottom. Gently remove the section of cake between the cuts, tearing it into small pieces. Fold pieces into strawberry mixture and pour into cake shell (if necessary, refrigerate until the mixture jells.) Place cake layer on top. Prepare Dream Whip according to directions, add a little red food coloring and ice cake. Keep in refrigerator.
DREAM CAKE
1 lg. angel food loaf cake
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 pt. strawberries
Blend cream cheese and sugar. Prepare Dream Whip as package directs. Mix with cheese mixture. Slice cake in half, spread with half of mixture. Cover with sliced strawberries. Replace top and spread with remaining mixture. Cover with sliced strawberries. Refrigerate until served.
DREAM CAKE
1 angel food cake
1 box strawberry whip & chill
1 box Dream Whip
1 can strawberry pie filling
Crumble angel food cake into oblong glass baking dish. Prepare whip and chill according to directions. Pour over cake (smooth evenly). Mix Dream Whip as directed on package. Pour over whip and chill. Spread evenly. Pour strawberry filling over all and chill
STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD CAKE
1 angel food cake
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 pkg. strawberry glaze
1 pt. strawberries
1 pkg. Dream Whip
Mix cream cheese (room temperature), sugar and Dream Whip together. Set this mixture aside.
Wash, cap and drain strawberries. Add strawberries to glaze. Set this aside.
In a large deep bowl, break a layer of angel food cake into pieces. On top of cake, place some of the cream cheese mixture and glaze. Continue to layer until all of the ingredients are gone.
You may use strawberry pie filling or any fruit filling.
