How about a nice slushy punch for the upcoming summer holiday barbecues?
STATE FAIR SLUSH
8 cups water 2 cups sugar (can be reduced, if desired) 1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice 1 (6 oz.) can frozen lemonade 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice 4 ripe bananas, mashed 2 liters 7-UP
Boil water and sugar until sugar dissolves; cool. Combine cooled sugar syrup, pineapple juice, lemon and orange concentrates, and mashed bananas; freeze. Remove from freezer slightly ahead of serving to partially thaw, making slush easier to scoop. To serve, fill a glass halfway with slush, then pour 7-UP over to completely fill glass. Glasses can be garnished with orange slices or marachino cherries as desired.
