DH woke up on Sunday with a hankering for waffles so I pulled out the recipe my Mom used make for Belgian waffles. It makes a nice, light, crisp waffle. I have had good results using ginger ale, 7-up or whatever soda we have for the club soda. I have used egg replacement for the egg with good results, also. Enjoy!

MOM'S CLUB SODA WAFFLES

2 cups Bisquick
1 egg
3 Tablespoons oil
1 1/3 cups club soda

Mix well. Pour into waffle maker for an extra light waffle.

Makes four Belgian sized waffles.
