Cindy, I don't know the exact recipe you're looking for, but here is one that appeared and was posted on the site of a local TV midday show. It was demonstrated by an older lady who caters. These were the only actual measurements given.

I made it for a holiday party with the craisins, dried apricots, and walnuts that I whirred through a blender. I rolled and shaped the cheese mixture in plastic wrap into a log until semi-firm and then rolled in the fruit nut mixture. It was fun to listen to people try to figure out why it tasted like blue cheese, when there was no blue cheese in it! Perhaps you could drizzle with a preserves or marmalade and add red pepper flakes and arrive at your described dish. Hope someone will post it for you. Until then...dazzle them with this. Next time, I will make it savory, with tomatoes and basil or pesto. I served it with a variety of crackers.

CREAM CHEESE FETA LOG

8 oz. of softened cream cheese
8 oz. soften crumbled feta

Mix in a mixer bowl; Refrigerate until cold and able to shape.

Roll into 2 logs approximately six inches and roll in any number of different spreads such as:

DRIED CRANBERRIES AND TOASTED NUTS:
Run craisins through a food processor. Cut really fine and add 1 cup of toasted pecans. Then, run them through the food processor until finely chopped.

BASIL-SUN DRIED TOMATO:
Or, you may use basil sun dried tomato (drained well) and 3 tablespoons of fresh chopped basil leaves to add even more festive color.
