the Aroura (spelling?) when I was a teen ager.Amazing I can even remember back that far! It was the most spectacular thing I've ever seen. In fact, we had friends over that evening and it got to be late...10:30 or 11:00 pm or so.The one fellow bid us good night only to come running up and knocking on our door a few seconds later yeling " Hey...everybody...come on out here!! It's an eclipse!" At the time, we were so excited we just rushed out to see what was going on...boy, was it beautiful!! Will never forget it and have never seen it since. Looking back..how would we have been able to even see a "eclipse" dead of the night..unless it was a moon one, I guess! LOL It sure is an experience that stays with you a lifetime. And breadpudding brings back the memories too..my family is all deceased and breadpudding is something that instantly makes me think of my grandmother. She always made it for me when she knew I was coming to visit. She even wrote it down for me and I still have the letter with the recipe on it. Somehow it doesn't taste the same though...sure tasted alot better when I was young and sitting at that table with her eating it. :-) Thanks David, for another bright spot in our day!
