I realize it's heresy to share a (shudder) boxed brownie recipe, but I had a box in my cupboard over the weekend, and made these:

1 21-1/2 oz. pkg. brownie mix
1 cup (NOT ONE CAN!) cherry pie filling
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350. Spray a 13 x 9" pan with cooking spray and flour it. In a mixing bowl, combine brownie mix, cherry pie filling, oil, and egg. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips, spread when melted.

It's great, if I do say so myself!
