Sorry people, but my Peanut Butter Chocolate fudge is the BEST!! It brings marriage proposals by the dozen everytime I whip up a batch. It only costs about $7 a batch, and that's a BIG batch...very rich, and can be made in about 10-15 minutes using only the microwave - NO CANDY THERMOMETERS!!!! This is how it's done:
Combine in a large bowl:
1 jar of peanut butter
6 cups powdered sugar
1 cup brown sugar
MIX EXTREMELY WELL!!!
then add: 2 sticks melted margarine, 1 tsp vanilla
stir, stir stir, stir some more
add more powdered sugar until mixture is no longer wet-looking.
smoosh into a well buttered pan (about 9x11x2 or 10x13x2)
in another bowl, melt together 5 tbsp margarine and 1 bag of chocolate chips. Stir until evenly mixed - it will look shiny, but not separated.
Spread on top of peanut butter mixture and refridgerate or freeze until firm.
