Add egg and ix thoroughly. Sift = dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture. Chill dough. Roll = out 1/8 inch thick on lightly floured board. Cut into circles, brush = tops with egg white and sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon. = Press half of a blanched almond into center of each. Bake in moderate = oven (375 degrees F) 10 to 12 minutes. Maeks about 5 dozen (2 1/2 inch) cookies.
