This recipe was given to me by a friend, and it really is a great casserole. I just found the recipe in a pile of stuff to be sorted through from the past couple of years, and can't wait to make it again! Deb's Chicken Casserole 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 cup sour cream 2 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 8 oz (2 cups) tri-colored routini, cooked and drained 1 cup (or can) sliced water chestnuts 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 2- 6 and 1/2 oz. cans of chicken, or 2 cups cooked chicken 2- 10 oz. packages frozen broccoli, cut or whole, cooked and drained. 1. Combine the soup and the sour cream. 2. Add 1 cup shredded cheese and the garlic to the soup mixture. 3. Fold in the routini, water chestnuts, green pepper and the chicken. 4. Turn into a shallow (9 X 13) greased baking dish. 5. Place broccoli on top of the casserole, and sprinkle with the remaining 1 cup cheddar cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
