Kris, we stepped out this evening for a haircut, so I just put a cover on the mixer and am leaving the unfinished recipe till morning. How do you think I should add the extra butter? Can I just add it to the stuff I mixed up already, or is it maybe better to mix up another recipe of the butter and sugar and then add it to the rest, before mixing in the extra ingredients needed for that extra recipe. I already doubled the recipe, so then it would be tripled with the extra butter and vanilla. I'm not sure if it would work to just add the exta 1/2 cup butter to what I have already mixed up, like right through the flour and stuff. What do you think? I'll wait till morning, then go further. :-) |
