Lisa,

These all have a cream cheese base, are very easy to make and you'll get tons of compliments. All the ingredients are to taste and feel free to play around with the amounts and ingredients.

They all begin with this basic mix;

Cream Cheese
Chopped Green onion (regular or red can be substituted if you don't have green ones)
Chopped fresh parsley (if you don't have any just omit it, don't use dried)

Mix these together then you can add:

For a Hot (spicy) Spread -
Chopped Black Olives and Cayanne Pepper (some peppers are stronger then others so be sure to taste test as you go...the flavor will become stronger as it sits. But don't be afraid to make it spicy...people love this.) or;

For a vegetable spread -
Minced carrots
Krazy Jane's Seasoning Salt

For a Mediterranean Spread -
Cavander's Seasoning

For a Curried Shrimp Spread -
Canned Shrimp (coarsely chopped)
Curry Powder

For a Caviar Spread-
Red or Black Caviar (be sure to drain the caviar well)

For a sweet spread, try Rum & Raisin -
Omit the onions and parsley and add either raisins soaked in rum (or bourbon) or raisins and rum extract.

Once the ingredients are all mixed, shape spread into a ball, chill and serve. All of the spreads, except the rum/raisin spread are great on garlic bagle chips.

Hope these help.
