Hi Nancy,

It sounds like you are talking about a Lemon Poke Cake. I had this cake while at a friends house and just had to have the recipe. Hope this is what you are looking for, it is exactly as you describe.

Lemon Apricot Cake

1 pkg. Lemon Supreme Cake Mix
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. apricot nectar
4 eggs

Mix all ingredients in a bowl, beat in eggs one at a time. Litely Spam a 13x9 baking pan and bake @ 325 for 40-45 minutes.

Glaze:
Take cake out of oven and poke holes with the bacvk of a fork and pour glaze over til cake absorbs.

1 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
juice of 2 lemons
1 stick butter, melted
Combine and blend well.
