Hi Tanis, Made the blackberry coffee cake last evening while my husband and son were at their Boy Scout meeting. It was deliciou0s!!!! My husband made whipped cream when he came home and we topped it with the cream, yummy!! Now I have to tell you what I did. I did not feel like using my preserves and making the adjustments. I thought we had blackberries in a can but we had cans of blackberry pie filling. I used the pie filling! What do you think? I have one question. In the recipe it states to cook 10 minutes ,TURN, and bake 10 minutes more. Does this mean to turn the coffee cake over. (I could not do this with the pie filling) or does it mean to turn the pan.( My husband thought not as skillet's cook evenly). Even without turning anything it was delicious. Thank you again.
