Bourbon Baked Beans I have been using this recipe for over 15 years and have never had anyone who didn't rave about it. The recipe can be doubled, tripled, etc.
1 large can B&M baked beans 1/4 cup catsup 2 tbls. brown sugar 1/4 cup minced onion Mustard to taste Bourbon or Brandy 2 large tbls. strong black coffee
To a large can of B&M beans add catsup, brown sugar, minced onion and mustard to taste.
Add 2 large tablespoons (or more) STRONG black coffee and at least 1/4 cup bourbon or brandy. (mixture will be runny)
Cover and bake at 275F for three hours.
Uncover and bake until 1/2 of liquid has evaporated.
