This may be what you are looking for. It comes from a very old cookbook that has been handed down 3 generations. HONEY CANDY 2 c Honey 1 c Sugar 1 c Cream Combine all ingredients in heavy sauce pan and cook slowly until it reaches the hard ball stage. Pour onto a buttered platter. When cool enough to handle, butter hands and pull until a golden color. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
