Carol, here are two additional recipes from Favorite Brand Name Cookie Collection Cookbook. Thought you would like to have these also.

Sour Cream Chocolate Cookies

2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup dairy sour cream
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/2 cup shortening, melted
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup Hershey's Cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 325 Degrees F. In large mixer bowl beat eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Blend in sour cream, butter and shortening. Combine
flour, cocoa, baking powder and baking soda; add to sugar mixture. Stir in walnuts. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet. Cool on wire rack.

Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

Spicy Sour Cream Cookies

1 package Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Spice Cake Mix
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.

Combine cake mix, sour cream, pecans, butter and egg in large bowl. Mix at low speed with electric mixer until blended.

Drop by rounded teaspoonsfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets. Remove to cooling racks.

Makes 4-1/2 dozen cookies.
