There was no salt in the Betty Crocker Meringues. Also the filling calls for 1/2 the amount of cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and whipping cream that kt's recipe does for the 8 to 10 shells. The meringues are filled and chilled forat least 12 hours. Then topped before serving. The topping is 1 can (1lb 5 oz)cherry pie filling and 1 teaspoon lemon juice stirred together. Don't know why they call it Cherry BERRIES.
