I'm looking for a long lost cookie recipe from my childhood. It was printed on the box of C&H or U&I powdered sugar in the late 60's or 70's. I think the cookies were called Hawaiian Charmers. They were a buttery refrigerator cookie with coconut in the dough. After chilling the dough in logs, one cut slices, baked them, and then rolled them in powdered sugar while still hot. They were incredible. The recipe has disappeared from my mom's recipe box. We are all broken hearted. If anyone has this recipe, please share it with me. Thanx.
