Hello all :)
So, my boyfriend, who I adore, has his own apartment, and of course he doesn't cook. That's my specialty. Over dinner the other night (I made cube steaks in gravy), he mentioned that his mother used to fix him chipped beef on toast, and he used to love it, and he hasn't had it in awhile. So guess what I want to make for dinner sometime next week? Three guesses, first two don't count...right. Well, I've found the recipe for chipped beef on toast (and it looks WONDERFULLY simple) but what exactly is chipped beef? I noticed some of the recipes call for dried beef, but I'd rather use fresh beef. So what do I look for in the grocery? What does chipped beef look like? Someone, please help out a young girl in love!
