I am looking for a recipe called chess squares...not chess pie. I know that it is made with light brown sugar, eggs, pecans, powered sugar, white sugar ,flour, maragrine and baking power;I've been only able to find recipes for chess pies and I'm not sure if the chess pies recipes are related to chess squares;the squares do not requires pie shells or cornmeal like the traditional chess pies. When fully baked the squares are almost creme-colored and have a somewhat brownie-like texture. If you can assist me in finding a recipe, i would me most appreciative. Thank you for reviewing my request. : )
