I'm looking for a recipe for fudge that my Grandmother made. I know the ingredients but not the amounts. It had sugar, baking chocolate, milk, butter and vanilla. She grated the chocolate and cooked it in the milk and sugar until a soft ball stage. Then took it off the heat, added the butter, let it cool some, added the vanilla and beat it until it "sugared". She poured it into a buttered pan. It was wonderful; very dark, almost bittersweet. I've tried lots of different amounts of the ingredients but I never get it right. Thanks Kathy
