Jordan Style Almonds

1 Egg White (room temperature)*
2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar

Beat all ingredients at high speed for 7 to 10 minutes in a medium (squeaky clean) bowl with a lid. Add 2 Tbsp. warm water and beat again for 1 minute. Coating should be thick and foamy. Thicken with more sugar if needed. Coating may be tinted with paste colors. You'll need a piece of Styrofoam and tooth picks. Insert whole almond on tooth pick. Dip into coating. Insert other end of tooth pick in Styrofoam until coating is dry.

*To avoid raw egg white, pasteurized egg white or reconstituted egg white powder may be used.
