Baked Rice Pudding 1/3 c rice; raw 4 c milk 1/2 c sugar 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp nutmeg; grated 1/2 c raisins butter; softened
Preheat oven to 300 degrees, lightly butter casserole. Combine rice, milk, salt, vanilla and nutmeg in casserole and mix well. Bake, uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Then stir in raisins and bake another 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
