Here is the original recipe as it appeared on the Baker's Chocolate Box.
2 egg whites 1/8 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon vinegar 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract 1/2 cup Baker's Angel Flake Coconut 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or toasted almonds 1 cup Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Flavored Chips, melted*
Beat egg white with salt until foamy throughout. Add sugar very gradually and continue beating until mixture will form still shiny peaks. Beat in vinegar and vanilla. Fold in coconut, nuts and melted chips. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 Degrees F. for 10 minutes.
Makes 2-1/2 to 3 dozen
*Or use 4 squares Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
Note: Total beating time - 10 minutes
