Coffee Bars
1/2 cup Crisco (vegetable shortening) 2 cups light brown sugar 2 eggs 3 cups flour Dash of salt 1 tsp. soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 cup raisins 1/2 cup nuts 1 cup strong hot coffee
Cream Crisco, brown sugar and eggs.
Mix dry ingredients with raisins and nuts. Add dry ingredients and hot coffee to creamed mixture. Mix well.
Bake in a greased 13x9-inch pan at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not overbake.
