There is a pretty wildflower called a marsh mallow - it grows in bogs. These were what were originally used to make our marshamallow candies.
If I find a wildflower book to identify this bog flower does anyone have the ancient recipe? I doubt if I'll make it but I'm extremely curious as to the ingredients and method.
